What if Derrick Rose never got injured? (Part 1)

Derrick Rose once seemed destined to become the next face of the NBA, so what happened, what was the reason why he never accomplished the high standard he got put on to him at the young age of 22? Why did he not become the next face of the NBA, something he seemed destined to be. What happened?

So yeah... Derrick Rose would end up with a torn left ACL. This would make him not as fast because of all of the surgery's. So he was never the same player without being able to explode to the basket passing everyone he met, he was never the same player that we thought he could be.

But what if we could go back? What if we stop this play from ever happening? What if Derrick Rose never got injured? What would change? As what you are about to see... a lot...

So! Hey basketball fans! That's right today we are going to take a trip down memory lane. We are going to go the the exact moment of this play happening and just rewriting NBA history! So come along and take a trip down memory lane with me!

So the Bulls make it past the 76ers but do still not have enough talent to stop the three headed monster of the Miami Heat. So the playoffs are still the same. The Miami Heat are still the champions, and the OKC Thunder are pissed because want to win a championship, but can't get past LeBron... So the Heat win the championship and LeBron is your finals MVP. Nothing changes in the draft because the regular season records were already decided by the time the injury happened.

So in the off season, nothing new happens besides the Bulls need a player that can knock down the shot because Derrick Rose was more of a playmaking/finisher and was never really known to be able to knock down the shot at a good percentage. So the Bulls target Manu Ginobili for a consistent shooter, as well as a mentor for the young emerging Derrick Rose, and yes Manu Ginobili is not a career long Spur in this world.

So in the 2014 season, nothing big happens besides the Bulls win 5 more games with Derrick Rose replacing Nate Robinson at the starting point guard position, and Manu Ginobili for some more shooting off the bench. So the playoffs are a little bit different with the Bulls wining so many more games then if the injury did happen. So the Bulls go on to the Eastern Conference Finials but are still no match for the Heat all in there prime.

This will be a two-part because this is getting long. So what do you think about it so far!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #HalfTheProcess so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

Who will be the 8th Seed for the Western Conference?

NBA Western Conference Predictions - THE WORD IS NOT ENOUGH - MediumThe western conference is a very hard conference to play in if you are on a NBA team. There are a lot of star powered teams in the West. But not as much in the eastern conference. So it is very hard to get into the playoffs in the west.

That being said, who will be the eight seed in the west? It is a three way race between Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers, Zion and the Pelicans, and Ja Morant and the Grizzles. Sadly my boy Derrick Rose is not in the race of the East. So who will win the race?

There is about a month break off so the Blazers might be healthy with there big mini 3 of Dame, CJ, and Nurk, Now they added Whiteside so one of the 2 centers might be coming off the bench so they will get more big man scoring when the back court is out resting. Or they will do what the Pelicans used to do with Bogey and AD. That would get a lot of rebounds and they will have Carmelo Anthony as his normal potion, a small forward. So the Portland team could be in the race.

Next is Zion and the Pelicans. Zion is a young great player. He will not be stressed out in the playoffs, he will just play normally. Then he has JJ Redick on his team. Someone who is a veteran and he will not be nervous to be in the playoffs because he has been in the playoffs every year of his career. So with the just straight up talent as well as the leadership from JJ I think they have a very good shot at making the 8th seed.

Lastly is Ja Morant and the very talented Grizzles. They do not have a lot of veteran leadership on there very young team. The oldest player on the team Anthony Tolliver. They only have 2 player that are 30 years and older one of them being Anthony Tolliver. The other one just turned 30. So I do not think that they have much of a chance with the age. The talent is there but I don't know if they will have enough mentor ship to push through to get the 8th seed.

So in conclusion, I think that Zion and the Pelicans have the best chance to make it into the playoffs. They have talent and a lot of veteran mentor ship, mostly from JJ Redick.

So what do you think about it so far!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #TrustTheProcess so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

How to make a Giannis Antetokounmpo Build in NBA 2K20! (Part 1)

Image result for giannis antetokounmpo nba 2k20Hey basketball fans! Today I am going to be showing you how to make Giannis Antetokounmpo in NBA2K20. This build plays exactly like the one and only Giannis Antetokounmpo.

First, you will have to name him then, choose his position, then the dominant hand, and last the number. For the skill breakdown, you will want to choose the option with finishing and defense and rebounding at the maximum.

After you choose that, you will want to choose your physical profile. You should choose the one that has everything that is balanced aka the last choice.

Next, you have to choose your potential. You want to be like Giannis Antetokounmpo, so max out everything in the finishing section besides post hook. Just make post hook a 49. Giannis Antetokounmpo is a insanely gifted finisher so you will want to do this to make your build play just like Giannis.

Then it goes to shooting, Giannis Antetokounmpo is not a very knock down shooter. So even if everything is maximum, he will still not be a knock down shooter. For the shooting section, you will want to make three point shooting and mid range shooting the maximum. He will still not be able to shoot very well.

Then for playmaking, you will want to make ball handling maximum and make pass accuracy a 73. That's it for playmaking.

Next is defense and rebounding, so you will want to make interior defense, perimeter defense, lateral quickness maximum. Then make steal a 70 then make block a 70 then offensive rebound a 76 and defensive rebound a 78.

Now for the weight, height, and wingspan for the height you will want to choose 6'10 which will make yourself tall enough to dunk over Rudy Gobert. Oh wait... Now for the weight you will want to go with 231 so your strength goes up. Next for wingspan, you will want to make his wingspan 91.8".

Next you will want to choose his takeover. You will want to go with slashing because that is just what Giannis Antetokounmpo does.

This will be a two-part because this is getting long. We still have to pick out all of the badges for Giannis Antetokounmpo . So what do you think about it so far!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #HalfTheProcess so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

How to make a Damian Lillard Build in NBA 2K20! (Part 2)

Image result for damian lillard nba2k20Hey basketball fans! So I am bringing you part 2 of How to make a Damian Lillard build in NBA 2K20!

Now for the badges, for the finishing badges you will sadly not have any hall of fame, but you will have a silver giant slayer and a bronze fancy footwork. That is kinda all you need for finishing when you have maxed out everything in the finishing column.

Next is the shooting badges. For this you have 22 potential badges. In shooting you will have 5 hall of fame badges. That is a glitch if you are playing in the park and just playing in the real season games! So for the hall of fame you want range extender, hot zone hunter, quick draw, green machine, and difficult shots. Damian Lillard can shoot from anywhere on the court so the range extender hall of fame is perfect for him. You will also want to have silver tireless scorer.

Now for second to last the playmaking badges. For playmaking you have 20 potential badges. All of the badges that you will have will be hall of fame. So for the hall of fame you will want handles for days, quick first step, space creator, tight handles, and lastly unpluckable. That is it for the playmaking badges.

Lastly, for rebounding and defense. For this you will have no hall of fame badges. The best you will have is gold. For your one gold badge you will want to choose clamps. You will not really need any rebounding badges because if you are a shooting 6'2 point guard, you don't really need to rebound. You not trying to make a Russell Westbrook. For the one silver badge you will want to choose pick dodger.

I want to give a HUGE shout-out to ClxtchTV. I used his video to help me find this! So what do you think about it so far!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #TheFullProcess so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

How to make a Damian Lillard Build in NBA 2K20! (Part 1)

Image result for damian lillard nba2k20Hey basketball fans! Today I am going to be showing you how to make Damian Lillard in NBA2K20. This build plays exactly like the one and only Damian Lillard.

First, you will have to name him then, choose his position, then the dominant hand, and last the number. For the skill breakdown, you will want to choose the option with playmaking and shooting at the maximum.

After you choose that, you will want to choose your physical profile. You should choose the one with the maximum agility, aka the first choice.

Next, you have to choose your potential. You want to be like Damian Lillard, so max out driving layup and driving dunk. Then make close shot at a 80 because Damian Lillard can dunk as well as make layups and make the close shots as well.

Then it goes to shooting, Damian Lillard is a very good knock down shooter. So you will want to max out mid-range shot, three point shot, free throw, and post fade. So, make everything maximum in the shooting column. So you will get a total of 22 shooting badges. This will make a big difference later when we choose the badges to use for the build.

Then for playmaking make pass accuracy and ball handle maximum. Then make post moves a 49. That's it for playmaking. You will have a total of 20 playmaking badges.

Next is defense and rebounding, so you will want to leave interior defense the same and make perimeter defense maximum as well as lateral quickness, steal, block. Then, make defensive rebounding a 40. In total you will have 5 defensive badges which is good for a 6'2 shooting minded
point guard/ shooting guard.

Now for the weight, height, and wingspan for the height you will want to choose 6'2 which is what the NBA has Damian Lillard at. Then for the weight you will want to go with 194 which is what Damian Lillard weights. Next for wingspan, you will want to make his wingspan 74.0".

Next you will want to choose his takeover. You will want to go with spot-up shooter because that is just what Damian Lillard does.

This will be a two-part because this is getting long. We still have to pick out all of the badges for Damian Lillard. So what do you think about it so far!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #HalfTheProcess so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

What Kobe Bryant Meant to me...

Image may contain: 1 person, playing a sport, shoes and basketball courtHey basketball fans! I am guessing by now everyone, basketball fans and not fans of basketball know what has happened to the legend Kobe Bryant. But for those of you who don't know, Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash January 26, 2020. This might be a little bit late, but I would rather do this now then never.

Kobe Bryant meant a lot to a lot of people. Kobe was the Jordan of the 1990s. He meant everything to me. He just seemed like he was immortal and was gonna be alive and well forever. Kobe was not my favorite player on the court. But I became a fan of Kobe after he was done playing. After he was done playing, he knew what he wanted to do. He was a children's author. He was a inspiration to me and everyone who heard about him. He was loyal to the team who traded for him before he even proved himself.

Kobe was the only player who people even compared or put in the same category as Jordan. He was just that electric. So many NBA players would not be as motivated if they did not have Kobe's example set for them. Without Kobe playing basketball, there would be so many less players in the NBA.

When Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 and when Devin Booker scored 70, they both held up a piece of paper that said 100 and 70 to show and remember that they did that. But when Kobe scored 81 points he was super calm. It was like he knew he was going to put up 81 before the game even started. Kobe was just that guy. He just went out on the court and played his game.

Kobe Bryant believed that he was the G.O.A.T many people believe that he is. But I just think that he was Kobe. He was just the person who inspired me along with so many people to be a better person and work as hard as I possibly could.

Kobe along with being a great basketball player was also a great family guy. The only reason he got the helicopter was because he needed to find a way to be a great family guy and be able to work out. He got a helicopter to make most of his travelling trips between 10 to 15 minutes.

So yeah, that is what Kobe Bryant meant to me. This might seem like a very unlikely blog post. It has been on my mind for awhile now. I don't want to earn any money from this. I just wanted to let ya'll know Kobe meant a lot to me and to a lot of other people. So, thank you for reading this blog post and I will talk to you later! Bye!

What has COVID-19 Done to the NCAA?

Image result for NCAAHey basketball fans! We all know that Covid-19 has had a lot of affect on every sport. Already, four major pro sports leagues in North America — MLB, NBA, NHL and MLS — have temporarily closed their clubhouses and locker rooms to the media. And a member of Tokyo's 2020 Olympic organizing committee's executive board raised the possibility of the Games being postponed for a year or two if they can't go on as scheduled. But what has it done for just the NCAA? That is the question that we are going to be answering.

The Yale men's and Princeton women's teams will represent the Ivy League in the upcoming NCAA Tournaments after officials scrapped the postseason conference tourneys to "limit large gatherings on campuses in light of the coronavirus situation." Two conferences have decided their men's and women's basketball tournaments will be played behind closed doors. Both the Big West and Mid-American Conferences on Tuesday became the first to announce they're restricting public access to the tournament sites

In response to players who expressed frustration with the decision, Ivy League executive director Robin Harris said public health concerns were paramount: “We understand and share the disappointment with student-athletes, coaches and fans who will not be able to participate in these tournaments.”

This is the most drastic reaction from a virus ever in all of sports history. They are trying to keep the players safe, and I get that, but come on. They cancelled all of the NBA, NCAA, MLB, NHL, and the MLS. That is a little bit drastic for a virus that we don't know that much about.

So what do you think about it this!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #StaySafe so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

Who is the Greatest Portland Trail Blazer of all time? (Updated)

Image result for damian lillardHey basketball fans! The Portland Trail Blazers have had many amazing players since 1970. Well maybe a little after that. But the question is, who is the best of the Portland Trail Blazer greats? This can be either Brandon Roy, Damian Lillard, Clyde Drexler, and Bill walton. But what one has risen above the others? What one is the greatest Blazer ever? This is the question that is gonna be answered.

So the first option is Brandon Roy. Roy started in the first 48 games of the 2007–08 season, averaging 19.1 points, 5.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds. He also led the Blazers to a 13-game winning streak in the month of December. Roy was selected as a reserve for the 2008 NBA All-Star Game. He was not on the Blazers for a very long time, and he had a very brutal injury. His injury was cartilage-deficient in his knees. He was a very explosive player so it was hard to recover from that after he got treatment because that really stopped him from using all of his speed. Kinda like a Derrick Rose situation. Where he was a great player before the injury but after he was never a the same player.

The second choice is Damian Lillard. He has been on the Portland Trail Blazers for his whole career. Lillard was selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. In the season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 31, Lillard recorded 23 points and 11 assists to join Oscar Robertson and Allen Iverson as the only players in NBA history with at least 20 points and 10 assists in their NBA debut. He has made a few all-star games and also had a few playoff runs but has never won a championship.

The 3rd choice is Clyde (the glide) Drexer. In the 1983 NBA draft Drexler was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 14th overall pick. He averaged 7.7 points in 17.2 minutes per game in his rookie season. His second season was his breakout season, in which he averaged 17.2 points, 6 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game. In his third season, Drexler made his first All-Star team while averaging 18.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 8 assists and 2.6 steals. In the 1989–1990 season, Drexler led the Portland Trail Blazers to the NBA Finals, averaging 26.4 points and 7.8 rebounds, but his team lost to the Detroit Pistons in five games. In the 1990–1991 season Drexler led Portland to a franchise best 63–19 record. Heavily favored to win the West, the Los Angeles Lakers upset the Trail Blazers by winning the Western Conference Finals.

The 4th choice is Bill Walton Walton overcame all obstacles and led Helix to 49 consecutive victories in his two varsity seasons. Helix won the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Championship in both 1969 and 1970, finishing 29–2 in 1968–69 and 33–0 in 1969–70. Walton had entered high school at a height of about 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) tall and graduated at about 7 ft 0 in (2.13 m) tall. Walton averaged 29 points and 25 rebounds, as Helix finished 33–0 in his senior season. As a senior in 1969–70, Walton made 384 of 490 shot attempts, 78.3 percent, still the all-time national record. In addition, Walton's 825 rebounds that season ranks No 3 all-time. His 25.0 rebounds per game in a season ranks No. 7 all time. Walton was featured in “Faces in the Crowd” in the January 26, 1970 issue of Sports Illustrated, his first national media recognition. “It was a dream come true to be a part of a special team,” Walton said. “Helix is where it all began. It was a humbling honor and privilege to be on the same squad as true legends Monroe Nash, Wilbur Strong, Phil Edwards, and Bruce Menser. I’m the luckiest guy on earth.” Hall of Fame Coach Denny Crum was then an assistant coach at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) under coach John Wooden, sent to watch Walton play. Crum first saw Walton in 1968 as a high school junior and was at first dubious when hearing of Walton, but went to scout him anyway. "I came back and told Coach Wooden that this Walton kid was the best high school player I'd ever seen," Crum recalled.

In conclusion, I think the Damian Lillard is the greatest Portland Trail Blazer of all time. He has carried the Blazers through some very hard times and he is a GREAT leader and he treats everyone the same on the team and the staff.

So what do you think about it this!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #LogoLillard so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

How to make a Prime Derrick Rose Build in NBA 2K20! (Part 2)

Image result for Prime Derrick RoseHey basketball fans! So I am bringing you part 2 of How to make a Prime Derrick Rose Build in NBA 2K20!

So for your takeover you want to go with slasher, of coarse because you can't really shot very well anyways so you wouldn't want to have the spot-up shooter.

Now for the badges, for the defense and rebounding badges you will want to have clamps at silver, tireless defender at silver, and lastly for the defensive badges you will want to have intimidator at gold.

Next is the playmaking badges. For this you have 22 potential badges. On the hall of fame level you would want ankle breaker, handles for days, and quick first step. Next on gold. For gold you will want Downhill because the downhill badge with the insane speed! That will be crazy fast. Next is tight handles for days on gold, and lastly on gold unpluckable on gold. Lastly for bronze. you will want space creator on bronze. You will probably not be doing very many step backs on this type of build, but it is always nice to have it when you need it.

Now for second to last. The shooting badges. As you probably know Derrick Rose even in his prime was never knockdown shooter. So for the shooting badges you will not have any hall of fame badges, you will only have one gold which would be difficult shots. He was known for hitting some hard shots in his prime so this is what you would want if you wanted to be just like D Rose. Next for the silver badge. For this you will want deadeye. He was not a knock down shooter but he hit some hard shots so I think this badge is a great fit for him. Next with the 2 bronzes. These are not as exciting but they could help you a lot. So for the first bronze badge you will want to choose catch and shoot and tireless scorer.

Lastly for the thing Derrick Rose was known for. Finishing. For the hall of fame badge you will want to have contact finisher, this will help you dunk on everyone! Even Yao! So next for the gold badges. You will want to choose acrobat, fancy footwork, giant slayer, slithery finisher, and lastly relentless finisher. Very lastly for the badges! You will want to choose, lob city finisher. You know that prime Derrick Rose will throw down every lob he could! This will help him do that in NBA2K20.

I want to give a HUGE shout-out to Dignify2K. I used his video to help me find this! So what do you think about it so far!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #TheFullProcess so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

How to make a Prime Derrick Rose Build in NBA 2K20! (Part 1)

Image result for Prime Derrick Rose
Hey basketball fans! Today I am going to be showing you how to make a Prime Derrick Rose in NBA2K20. This build plays exactly like the one and only Derrick Rose.

First, you will have to name him then, choose his position, then the dominant hand, and last the number. For the skill breakdown, you will want to choose the one with Finishing and Playmaking at the maximum.

After you choose that, you will want to choose your physical profile. You should choose the one with agility at the max, aka the first choice. This is because then he will be able to dunk on absolutely anyone, small guys, big man. Anyone.

Next, you have to choose your potential. You want to be like Derrick Rose so max out, close shot, driving layup, and driving dunk for the finishing options.

Then it goes to shooting, Derrick Rose was never really a knockdown shooter. So you will not be able to shoot the ball very well, so if you like to shoot from half court don't use this build. So for the shooting options make mid-range shot, three-point shot, (which will not be very good even maxed out) and post-fade maximum and make free throw a 59.

Then for playmaking make pass accuracy and ball handle maximum. That's it for playmaking.

Next is defense and rebounding, so you will want to make interior defense, perimeter defense, lateral quickness, and steal all maximum. Then make block a 55 and defensive rebounding a 50.

For the badges, you will have 20 badges for finishing, (which make sense) 7 for shooting so you will be more likely to make a three or a mid-range shot because they will leave you open. After all, you are a slasher, 22 for playmaking so you can get a few ankle breakers and some good passes, and last 7 Defense/Rebounding badges.

Now for the weight, height, and wingspan for the weight you will want to choose 189 because then nothing gets worse and the speed and the acceleration. Now for the height, in real life Derrick Rose is 6'2-6'3. In this you will want to make him 6'3. This is because then you will not get blocked when you are trying to dunk or do a layup. Now lastly for the wingspan, for this you would want to go with 75.0 because then your ball handle goes all the way up to a 95.

This will be a two-part because this is getting long. We still have to pick out all of the badges for Derrick Rose. So what do you think about it so far!! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put........ #HalfTheProcess so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

Why is Kevin Durant NOT Wearing the Number 35?

Image result for kevin durant numberHey basketball fans! Kevin Durant has been wearing the number 35 throughout his career. So it was a surprise to everyone when he announced that he would be wearing the number 7! Why is Kevin Durant not wearing the number 35 on the nets? Has something changed?

Kevin Durant is a top 10 maybe top 5 player in the NBA. The one thing he has never changed on any team was the number he wore, the number 35, that was until this season on his first year on the Brooklyn Nets. He wore the number 35 because of one of his friends. Quote from Kevin Durant, "35 was chosen in honor of someone very near and dear to me. I will always honor him and honor the number 35,” that was until the 2019-2020 season.

So Kevin Durant changed his number to 7, lets get into why. Durant says he’s decided to wear No. 7 in Brooklyn because it stands for completion in the Bible. (God rested on the seventh day after creating Heaven and Earth.) Clearly the completion of his career is on his mind. He said that this was also a one time thing so maybe he is going to leave them, or change his number back.

What do you think about it! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put......... #7ForKD so I know you got that far! Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!

NBA Latest News | What has Covid 19 done to the NBA season and what do I think about it?

Hey basketball fans! Sad news today, the NBA has cancelled the rest of the games for this season. It is unknown if it is going to be postponed or just cancelled. These are my thought on what this will be like in this time for the NBA.

This is bad. I love the Portland Trail Blazers. Without the NBA I would not be able to learn and see my favorite player. My favorite player of all time is Derrick Rose. I just like him story. He went through a lot, he was the 2011 NBA MVP and then he tore his ACL (interior crucial ligament), then he came back and has yet to make a All-Star game, or get any awards. But what I think about D Rose is for another Blog, and no I am not a Bandwagon for liking Derrick Rose and not someone on my states teams.

The NBA will suffer. That just it the NBA will not get any money. A lot of workers will lose money, Concession stand workers especially. They need that money.

Breaking News: March madness will not be happening at all. This is bad. Like really bad for everyone in every league. Soccer, Basketball, Football, Soccer. Every sport.

I think that Rudy is kinda the reason for the NBA cancelling/postponing the NBA season, and I am not pointing fingers but he could have stopped it. For everyone who does not know, he was pretty much, just touching every microphone and acting like he had it by coughing in him arm, AND HE GOT COVID 19! That just makes me very mad! He could have not done that. He might have still gotten it, but it would have probably been for a different reason. I don't know what he was thinking. He was making fun of everyone who was scared. I am not scared of it but I am still very mad at him. I might be a bandwagon because of what happened this season with the Blazers and the refs. But I think everyone in the league and out is mad at him too. Sure he said sorry. But the NBA probably made him, that just makes it seem like he said it just to get the NBA off his back.

So that is my thoughts about the NBA problems. What do you think about it! Put it in the comments! I read all of them so I might respond!! If you got this far put......... #StopRudy so I know you got that far!

Thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!
